Family members of Gracewood of Hugo were invited to honor their mothers and grandmothers with a Mother’s Day tea on Friday, May 12th. The afternoon started with a wonderful performance by Jenni Thyng. Jenni sang a variety of familiar songs as she interacted with the residents. Following Jenni’s performance we had our tea and refreshments. The tables were set with white lace tablecloths, tea sets, and tea cups. Bite-size sandwiches and cakes were served along with a variety of teas, coffee, and pink lemonade. All the women adorned a fancy hat which they had decorated earlier in the week. It was really a nice way to spend the afternoon with loved ones.
