We offer a wide variety of activities at our communities. Below are just a few examples of the fun we are having at White Pine, Comforts of Home and Gracewood Senior Living.
Gracewood of Hugo-State Fair
/ We brought the State Fair to the residents of Hugo at the end of August. They played carnival games, had all their favorite State Fair foods for lunch, created their own seed art, and even wore silly State Fair hats.
Gracewood of Hugo-Yes-U Can Cloggers
/The Yes-U-Can Cloggers entertained us for an afternoon in September. They clogged to a variety of music from classical to rock. The residents enjoyed the music and watching the two women dance.
Gracewood of Hugo-4th annual grandparent's day carnival
/Fun was had for all ages at the 4th annual grandparent’s day carnival at Gracewood of Hugo. New this year was a photo booth, where residents with family members dressed up in silly hats and glasses and had their picture taken. We also had all our favorite games and refreshments. Steve Rossa played an entertaining sing-a-long on the guitar. It was a great way to finish our busy afternoon.
Gracewood of North Branch-Therapy miniature horse
/Some days the happiness that abounds with our staff, community and residents is amazing. Shelley Oney brought her therapy miniature horses to visit our residents. The joy it brought was wonderful. You can see the love in this picture of Dorothy and the horse named Dr. Pepper.
White Pine of White Bear Lake-Craft and Garage Sale
/The White Pines, White Bear Lake Craft and Garage Sale is today from 9 to 3 – Stop by and support senior activities!
Gracewood of Champlin-Skydiving
/Denise Lewis resident of Champlin Gracewood conquered her fear today! She went skydiving! Denise was diagnosed with MS in her 20's and is wheelchair bound. The highlight of her week is our activities, meals and the dollar store. She will be smiling all year!
